Remember when you used to watch Doogie Howser and think to yourself "If only Doogie was less of an smarty pants little kid, more evil, in a musical, a lot funnier"? No? Yeah, me neither -- but watch Doctor Horrible's Sing-a-long Blog -- and you'll wonder why you didn't!
Made by Joss Whedon and his brothers -- this is what happens when writers and actors have some extra time on their hands. This was all written, produced, and filmed during last years WGA strike. All the financing came out of Joss Whedon's pocket (he can afford it anyway) and the actors worked for free -- with the idea that if it made any money they'd get a share of the royalties. You can currently download the show, and the music off of iTunes and Amazon -- and the soundtrack and DVD are being released this holiday season.
This is worth checking out for any fan of musicals, comic books, Neil Patrick Harris, or awesomeness.
